Hi Again, ********. I'm an Post graduate, I have around 4+ years as a oracle DBA. presently I'm working with  Oracle India Pvt Ltd. Bangalore. Prior to this worked for Reputed Company  . 

Currently I am in to Oracle Cloud Operations(SAAS).Oracle Commerce Cloud Service is an E-Commerce solution designed specifically to run in the Oracle Cloud. The service provides you with a range of powerful tools to build a flexible, feature-rich storefront for your customers. Here we have  good team consisting of 8 members and we have the US team also there for support . Here we are supporting 500 + Databases. we have various platforms like Linux, AIX,HP-Unix and we have multiple enviroment like Few of RAC,Dataguard and some of standalone. India Team supporting 2 shifts and Onshore team will take care of remaining shift hours. we transffering are shifts using HS doc, in that we will add on going issues or task which they need to take care.

Previously worked in ****** Project.***** is a 3rd largest telecom company in US.there we had good team consisting of 7 members and we have the Brazil team and US team also there for support . Here we are supporting 600 + Databases. we have various platforms like Linux, AIX,HP-Unix, Solaries and we have multiple enviroment like RAC, Goldengate, Dataguard and some of standalone. India Team supporting 12 hours and Brazil(IBM) and Onshore team will take care of remaining 12 hours. we transffering are shifts using HS doc, in that we will add on going issues or task which they need to take care.

Coming to my Day 2 Day activities.

1.performing datapump operations from production to not production enviroment.

2.Monitoing Backups.

3.executing DDL/scirpts/packages/procedures in production envitronment

4.resolving mount point spce issues

5.Working on user end issues and creating users/modifying users, granting roles revoking the same.

6.resolving connectivity issues of application users

7.Monitoring long running queries and giving appropriate suggestions to app team

8.index rebuild and gather stats of tables upon requests

9.resolving DR-Sync issues

10.monitoring sm7 tickets and takng actions as per priority

Enviroment Details

Currently i'am working for*****.. we are supporting 600+ databases..

we have multiple environments like Rac, Goldengate,Dataguard and standby also,

and we have multiple Platforms like Linux,UNIX,AIx,HP-unix and windows also. 

our team size is 7 from India side and 10 from onsite, (L2-3, L3,4-3 and Team Lead).

we are supporting 24/7 environment.

A.5:30AM to 2.30PM(2Members), B)7:00 PM to4:00PM(3 Members) C)9.30PM to 5:30PM (2members). 

My responsibities like:

1.Taking care of tablespaces, like adding datafiles , resizing datafiles,

2.working on User end issues like creating users, granting privileges, roles,

.

3.Performing Backups using cold, hot, RMAN, exp/IMP, Data pump.

4.performing datapump operations from production to non production enviroment

5.executing scripts and packages  in production envitronment

6.resolving mount point space issues

7.Resolving connectivity issues of application users

8.Resolving performance issues with team interaction.

9.Monitoring long running queries and giving appropriate suggestions to app team

10.index rebuild and gather stats of tables upon requests

11.resolving DR-Sync issues

12.monitoring sm7 tickets and takng actions as per priority

13.providing DDL's of objects as per app team request

14.taking care of Golden gate abended issues, and monitoring lag info..

My self ***********. I have completed my graduation(B.Com(Computers))from Osmania University in 2011. 

I have overall 4+ years’ experience as an Oracle DBA.

Prior to Oracle I have worked for MNC Compnies. I have exposure on Oracle DBA, Dataguard, RAC and Golden Gate.

Role Description: Taking care of SECURITY,PERFORMANCE,AVAILABILITY,MAINTENANCE of databases.

Project Details: Project on Production, Development, UAT servers

Database refresh, Schema refresh using Data Pump Production to Test database

Installation, Upgradation, Migration of Oracle Databases.

Experience with the support, troubleshooting, backup & recovery, monitoring & managing of users, performance tuning of the Oracle databases 12c/11g/10g using SQL, PL/SQL, SQL*Plus, ASM, ORACLE RAC (Real Application Cluster), Standby (Data Guard) Database, Oracle Utilities, Oracle Enterprise Manager on Unix (Linux, AIX, SUN and HP) & Windows platforms.

Performed regular maintenance activities like RMAN backups and monitored the activities on the database.

Execute scripts for performing backup and perform DDL changes on DB.

Experience of managing and administering 24X7 database operations.

Managing Resources with Profiles, Managing User Privileges with Roles.

Oracle RAC installation, configuration on Linux.

Experienced in upgradation of Database from 10g to 11g.
